Some Finer Details

Kinnordy Gym Bello has a strongly structured stallions' pedigree.
The 4 crosses of the highly influential Hanoverian sire Gotthard in the the 4th and 5th generations, and the 3 crosses of the reknown stallion Wendekreis in the 4th and 5th generations, provided Gym Bello with a power packed and dominant pedigree structure that should see him strongly stamp his offspring.
Gotthard was a sire of great showjumpers and has even been described as the best producer of showjumpers in the world at his time. Some of his best known sire sons include Gardestern, Genever and Goldstern - all featured in Gym Bello.
Wendekreis also had a very big influence during his years at stud, and was highly regarded for producing very correct offspring, also being a popular sire of jumpers. His legacy continues on through his many highly regarded sire sons, while also being a wonderful broodmare sire.

Gymnastik Star (sire) - Magnificent individual with stunning movement and huge jumping ability, Premium Stallion Class 1 Status at his performance test in Germany. Now standing at Kinnordy Stud, Australia and producing very elegant foals with beautiful movement, trainable temperaments and classy looks. Gymnastik Star has a superb pedigree structure featuring double cross Gotthard/Wendekreis in 4th generation. This sire is strongly stamping his offspring and his foals are highly sought after by top riders for all discplines.
Kinnordy Gabriela (dam) - strong, upstanding mare with lovely natural suspension in her movement, all her foals have had exceptional movement and temperaments. Also the dam of Galanthus (by Gymnastik Star), now standing at stud in Australia.
Graf Landau (dam's sire) - an imported licensed and performance tested Hanoverian sire also featuring the wonderfully proven Gotthard/Wendekreis cross, Graf Landau has big scopey movement and a superb jumping technique. He has made a strong impact in Australiasia as a sire of Grand Prix showjumping and allround performance horses, recent progreny results including NZ 2004 Supreme Champion Young Dressage Horse 'Grunelius Legacy'.
Silky Baby (2nd dams sire) - A quality Thoroughbred stallion who is fully approved and licensed with the Hanoverian Society and has produced some top quality sporthorse performers with Warmblood mares.
Gold Song (3rd dam) - a wonderful type, imported from Germany by Kinnordy Stud, by the famous Goldstern. The dam and female family of many top performed Hanoverian foals, including Daly K, well performed sire in Australia.
Glueckspilz (sire's sire) - An attractive dark brown Hanoverian stallion noted at his stallion licensing for his outstanding jumping ability and exceptional manner.
Glueckstern (sire's sire's sire) - Winner of his German stallion licensing.
Werther - Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1992 for his proven his ability to sire performance and breeding horses treasured for their athleticism, soundness, versatility and personality. Sire of famous dressage horses and international showjumpers.
Goldstern - A popular leading sire of competition horses and approved stallion sons, particularly good showjumping sire with over 35 progeny competing at advanced level.
Calypso II - Famous son of Cor De La Bryere, sires of many very talented dressage and show jumping horses. One of the top stallions in his licensing due to his all round abilities. Also now becoming a well known broodmare sire.
Cor De La Bryere - World-acclaimed Selles Francis stallion known particularly for his outstanding jumping style and supreme athletic ability. Accredited as being the most influential showjumping sire in modern breeding, sire of world class performance horses and stallion dynasties.
Genever, Gotthard, Ferdinand, Cor De Le Bryere, Calypso II, Domspatz, Wendekreis and Goetz - all of these stallions are responsible for at least one or more World Showjumping Champions!!
