Elenbee's R-Rated (Red)
is a wonderful character, a very versatile stallion, deep chestnut in
colour standing 14.2 hh. Excellent conformation, exceptional character
and temperament, lovely flowing movement, beautiful natural carriage
with much style and presence. Born of impeccable Crabbet bloodlines
as the result of mating supreme multiple USA Champion and 'Blue List'
sire "Rasmoniet RSI" with Australian Champion mare
"Cameo Windsprite" (by Chip Chase Desert Wind). The Egyptian
and Crabbet bloodlines contained within this sire are sought after throughout
the world as being some of the best Arabian blood that has stood the
test of time.
Infamous "Nazeer"
is one of the world's highest regarded Arabian sires of all time, and
is the great grandsire of Elenbee's R-Rated, being linebred 3 x 3 in
his pedigree. Nazeer is rarely found as closely in a pedigree these
days and the linebreeding to him has proven dominant in the quality
that Elenbee's R-Rated produces.
This stallion is quite
different to your average Arabian. He is of stronger bone and conformation
(particularly through the hind quarters and hocks - a common weak point
in many Arabs), he has strong hooves, his head is not dished, and his
temperament is exceptional. (He can be led on a simple halter, anywhere,
anytime by anyone! and often lives beside our weanlings, loving to play
with them over the gate.)

He consistently passes
on to progeny his excellent conformation, straight flowing movement,
beautiful friendly sensible intelligent temperament, interested attitude
to life, and heaps of "look at me" X-factor. He is also known
for passing on beautiful heads and presence, with all of his foals containing
his friendly kind inquisitive nature and talkative character.
The original Thoroughbred
industry was established during the reign of Charles the 2nd (1660-1685)
by crossing an Arabian stallion with 7 English mares. These bloodlines
have developed into the speed and elegance of todays Thoroughbred industry.
These British Thoroughbreds have spread throughout the world as the
racing industry developed in popularity.
The Arab
horse is known for its large dark eyes, small ears, arched neck, fast
free floating athletic action, stamina and toughness making them extremely
versatile. The Arab is often used to improve other breeds, they are
very intelligent and sensitive making superb willing companions.

Elenbee's R-Rated in 2003
(at 20 years old)
As well as the Anglo-Arab
(Arab x Thoroughbred cross), an interesting mating that we are also
keen to develop is the Arabian Warmblood. This breed is becoming increasingly
popular throughout Australia as it gains credit in the show ring and
dressage/jumping arenas. The Arabian sire over Warmblood mares follows
the old and proven adage of "blood over bone", producing elegance,
movement, presence and charisma with good bone, height and athleticism
for a top sporthorse prospect.
Elenbee's R-Rated is also an outstanding sire choice for pony mares,
adding agility, elegance, presence and style to ponies to produce top
quality show and all-round performers with very kind, intelligent temperaments.
His young trail riding/endurance progeny in New Zealand are also fast
becoming very well known for their excellent low heart rates and sure-footed
ability over distance. Keep a look out for the names Astek Lauralea
and Astek Fantastek!
Elenbee's R-Rated's young
New Zealand progeny all display wonderful character and conformation,
lovely straight flowing movement, heaps of natural presence, and are
very kind, intelligent, willing learners. These youngstock never fail
to impress - we are certain that you too will be impressed by your foal
to this sire!
The stud fee is excellent
value for such a consistent and proven sire of champions. Inspection
is welcome by appointment!
