Astek Stud Open
Day - March 2006
Updated January 11th 2006
Our
second annual Open Day is going to be held on Sunday the 5th of March
2006. The Open Day presents a great opportunity for prospective
breeders, buyers, riders and general horse enthusiasts to come along
and see our three stallions paraded, while also viewing our complete
line-up of new 2005 season foals, as well as a selection of older horses.
Several progeny sired by our stallions and bred by our clients will
also be presented. Some horses will be offered for sale.
Full commentary will be provided as each horse is presented, plus a
marquee on site with further information and video footage.
At the end of the day we will be holding a social BBQ which everyone
is also welcome to attend!
Free Entry! Strictly No Dogs Allowed.
Location: 671 Burnham School Road, Burnham, Christchurch.
Please follow signs at the stud entrance for parking. Full programme
of the days events will be available here on this website closer to
the time, as well as in local saddleries and feed merchants. Please
contact us if you'd like a copy sent to
you before the day.
We look forward to seeing you here!

Cottle Showjumping Clinics at Astek Stud
Details:
Astek Stud is proud to offer you a New Zealand's own Grand Prix
Champion and master of showjumping for instruction. Not only has John
Cottle produced 6 Olympic horses, he has also trained other horses that
have competed at that level for other countries, and has competed internationally
in the World Cup. When one person consistently turns out such class
you know their knowledge and method of training is extremely effective
and based on sound principals that lead towards such success. John's
courses are very affordable, professional and enjoyable, and are suitable
for all levels.
John Cottle will
be available here regularly throughout the year for riders to progress
and receive ongoing tuition.
Spaces are limited
and his courses are always very popular (usually filling within 2-3
days of advertising) so it is wise to register your interest early.
Our last showjumping
clinic was held in September 2005, and was another great clinic allround,
with more super training exercises provided by John.
